La Bamboche is a french folk group Lyon's origin (amateur departure) formed in 1972 by John Blanchard French band (spruce Vosges, mandolin, bagpipes Berry, Béchonnet bagpipes, violin, accordion, concertina, percussion, vocals), Jacky Bardot (guitar, bouzouki, spruce Vosges mandocello, vocals), Bernard White (old, bagpipes, bagpipe Béchonnet, flute, guitar, tin whistle, vocals, bells) and Jacques Boisset (violin spruce Vosges, bass, drums , vocals).
The group was one of the leaders of the French folk alongside Malicorne and Melusine. It performs a repertoire focused on the central regions of France, in a traditional acoustic style until 1978.
