As the title says this is the 4th Gwendal's LP, a strong Celtic-rock sound.

Very varied, there are reminiscences to reggae, listen "Le Gai De Gueret Reggae", and indeed parts (that I love) celtic music "My Love Is A Band Boy" and "The Lucky Lover".

I assign four stars.

 From the first time we can see that this group has a wide variety of influences, from traditional Irish music to rock to jazz and classical music.
Were a huge success in terms of specialized media criticism regarding sales, leading the group released their second album just a year later (first “Gwendal”)with the title of Joe can not reel. In this work occurs the first appearance of the electric violin of Robert Le Gall, and features the artwork of Claire Bretécher.

 Gwendal and his first self-titled LP released in 1974, in my opinion one of his best works.
Dumps absolutely to the irish-celtic roots music, there was a subsequent reissue of this LP entitled “Irish Jig”, is that this album from start to finish is very good, excellent instrumentation. What would I recommend listening to? Irish Jig, An Dro-Nevez, Sopo – song (terrific).

Gwendal y su primer LP homónimo publicado en 1974, a mi juicio uno de sus mejores trabajos. Volcados absolutamente hacia la música de raíz celta irlandesa, se hizo una reedición posterior de este LP titulada “Irish-Jig”, es que este disco de principio a fin es bueno, excelente instrumentación. ¿Qué recomendaría escuchar? Irish-Jig, An dro-Nevez, Sopo – song (bellísima).

"Gwendal" whole progressive-folk with jazz touches. It is precisely this 'A vos desirs' the first work I heard, excellent interpretations of traditional celtic-folk pieces, being "Cam'ye Ower Frae France" of my favorites.
A brilliant LP to my taste, and it strikes me that this band is unknown.
Finally add the cover is given by renowned comic illustrator Enki Bilal, I love your drawing style.

'Gwendal', el conjunto de folk-progresivo con toques jazzísticos. Es justamente este 'A vos desirs' el primer trabajo que les escuché, excelentes interpretaciones de piezas del folk celta tradicional, siendo "Cam'ye Ower Frae France" de mis favoritas.
Un LP brillante a mi gusto, y no deja de sorprenderme que esta banda instrumental sea desconocida por muchos.
Por último agregar que la carátula está a cargo del prestigioso ilustrador de cómic Enki Bilal, me gusta mucho su estilo de dibujo.

En este disco advierto una tendencia más del jazz-pop con menos celta, su propuesta es más moderna, aunque nada que ver con el disco glen river que sacaron más adelante que le valió algunos premios internacionales.

Este es uno de los primeros discos de Gwendal y si la razón no me falla creo que es su primer disco; aqui todavía se escuchan muy elementales pero ya se veía el concepto de fusión jazz celta pop que les fue caracterizando.
