Planxty has 2 important moments, the first falls under the umbrella of
the Polydor label and the second under the eaves of the Tara label. If
you ask me which of the moments is brighter, I say without affectation
that Polydor time is phenomenal. This work I am presenting today, is the
last of his official LP, and is under the auspices of the WEA label.
Admittedly, we can already see the wear and tear of these great bands (had 10 years of existence), trying to reinvent inevitably fall into what we call "commercial sound". Well, the decade of the 80's (published this LP), was disastrous for all the great bands of all time.
I liked the Planxty because in his first 4 jobs were totally unplugged, no keyboards, bass and electric guitars.
In this album and the last introduced keyboards, giving that hint of commercial music.
In any case, continue to present these wonderful traditional's uilleann pipes pieces interpreted by Liam O'Flynn, which marked so much influence in the many Irish pipers are heard here and there.

Spanish.
